In force from: 9 October 2026
1. Who publishes this site
This site presents the services of RG Consultorías in Guatemala. Sofía Rodríguez leads legal and translation services; Ricardo Giorgis leads technology and operations.
By using this site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use it.
2. What this site is and what it is not
This site describes the firm’s services and shows examples of its work. It is informational material.
Nothing published here is legal advice, a legal opinion, a technical assessment or a recommendation for any particular matter. Reading it is not a substitute for a consultation, and the content does not take account of the circumstances of any person or company.
3. Reading this site does not create a professional relationship
Consulting the site, using the translation calculator, downloading the dossier or writing to the firm does not create a client relationship, nor a lawyer-client relationship, nor any obligation on the firm to take on a matter.
A professional relationship begins only when the firm and the client agree to it in writing, through an engagement letter or a services contract. Until then the firm takes on no deadlines, reviews no documents and is under no obligation to act.
From the quotation stage we treat the information you share as confidential. That treatment does not replace written acceptance of an engagement or mean that we have taken on your deadlines. Do not send documents that are unnecessary for a quote; an urgent matter requires express acceptance of the engagement.
4. The translation calculator
The calculator on the sworn translation page works from a stated basis of 250 words per standard page and returns an estimate: the published rate multiplied by the number of pages, and nothing else.
That figure includes tax. It excludes physical delivery and rush surcharges and does not apply negotiated discounts. It is not a quote and it does not bind the firm.
The final count is made on the real document, which almost never matches the estimate exactly. The formal quote defines the price, scope and validity period. Each quote states its own validity for the work under discussion; it is reviewed once that period ends.
5. The published rate
The published rate for sworn translation is Q135 per standard page of 250 words, tax included and delivery extra. A 24-hour delivery carries a Q75 surcharge per page; immediate delivery, Q150 per page. Turnaround and availability are confirmed in the quote. Discounts are negotiated individually for each quote.
The rate in force when the formal quote is issued is the one that applies. A change of rate does not affect quotes already issued that are still within their validity period.
The services of the technology and operations practice have no published rate card, because scope drives price. What is published is how the firm charges, and describing that is not a price offer.
6. The demonstrations and the figures
The three demonstration pieces, and every figure appearing in them or elsewhere on the site, are generated from synthetic data and labelled as such on each piece.
No figure belongs to a client or describes a result a client obtained. The pieces show the working method and the shape of the deliverable; they are not a promise of a result, nor a projection of what any client will obtain.
7. Why no clients are named
This site publishes no client logos, testimonials or figures attributed to clients, because the firm’s confidentiality agreements do not allow it. That absence is a compliance decision and says nothing about the firm’s volume or track record.
Cases are told without identifying the client, without an identifiable sector and without attributable figures.
8. Intellectual property
The text, the site architecture, the design system, the diagrams, the code of the demonstration pieces, the synthetic dataset and the dossier are the firm’s work and are protected by the Copyright and Related Rights Act, Decree 33-98 of the Congress of the Republic of Guatemala and its reforms. The firm reserves the rights that act grants it.
The name RG Consultorías and its graphic version identify the firm.
The IBM Plex typefaces are third-party work used under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. That licence governs them, not these terms.
You may read the site, print it, quote it citing the source, and share the link or the dossier as it stands. You may not reproduce the site or substantial parts of it to offer services of your own, nor alter the dossier and continue to present it as the firm’s material.
9. Third-party links and services
Some buttons on the site lead to third-party services: messaging, appointment booking and visit measurement. The firm does not control them and is not answerable for them, and the use of each is governed by its provider’s terms.
10. What data this site collects
This site has no forms for collecting personal data or user accounts, and asks for no personal data in order to browse it.
Visit analytics is disabled. No visit-measurement tools or analytics identifiers are used.
It stores one preference in your browser: light or dark theme. It never leaves your device and you can clear it from your browser.
If you write by email or messaging, the firm treats the information you share as confidential from the quotation stage, under clause 3 and the privacy notice.
The privacy notice is published separately and describes how we handle enquiries from all our clients.
11. Availability and changes to the site
The site is published as it stands. The firm makes no commitment to continuous availability and may change, move or withdraw content without prior notice.
The version published at the moment of consultation is the one that applies. Downloadable material, the dossier among it, may fall out of date; what is current is on the site.
12. Liability
The firm is answerable for its professional services under the contract governing them and under the rules of professional responsibility that apply to it. These terms do not limit that responsibility and do not purport to.
What these terms bound is use of the site. The firm is not answerable for decisions anyone takes on the basis of the informational material published here without a professional relationship in place, nor for the site being unavailable, nor for the third-party services linked from it.
None of the above excludes liability that Guatemalan law does not allow to be excluded.
13. Language
This site is published in Spanish and in English. If the two versions differ, the Spanish version governs.
The English version is offered for the reader’s convenience and is not a sworn translation.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Guatemala.
Any dispute about the use of this site is submitted to the courts of the municipality and department of Guatemala.
15. Changes to these terms
The firm may amend these terms. The version in force is the one published on this page, carrying the date shown at the top. Continuing to use the site after an amendment means accepting it.
