Reporting that holds up with nobody holding it
The problem is almost never missing data. It is three versions of the same number, none of which has an owner.
Three versions of one number, no agreement
Somebody exports to Excel on Friday. Somebody else crosses it with another source on Monday. By Tuesday the management meeting is arguing about which file is right instead of what to do about it.
When that person resigns or falls ill, the report stops existing. That is not a tooling problem. It is a metric whose definition lives in one person's head.
The definition first, the dashboard after
We start with the metric dictionary: one written definition per indicator, with an owner and an explicit calculation rule. If two departments count differently, that gets settled before anything is connected.
Then the data model and the central store, wired to the real source rather than to an export. The dashboard comes last.
We work in Power BI and Microsoft Fabric, with SQL Server, Python and Power Automate wherever data has to move or change shape.
What you get
- A signed metric dictionary, one definition per indicator
- A data model and central store wired to the source
- Dashboards in Power BI or Microsoft Fabric, management view down to team detail
- Automated management reporting on a schedule
- Purpose-built trackers: attendance, projects, service level, inventory, compliance
- Platform migration when the dashboard exists but lives in the wrong place
The numbers a contact centre actually needs
When the operation is a contact centre, the package covers what that operation asks itself daily: interval-level volume forecast, staffing requirement, adherence, occupancy, service level, quality and cost per contact.
Plus forecast against actual, which is the number that says whether the staffing plan worked or whether you paid for people you did not need.
Frequently asked questions
My data is in Excel and three different systems. Does that work?
It works, and it is the most common starting point. The job is precisely to stop depending on someone stitching it together by hand every week.
Do I have to buy Power BI licences before we start?
Not for the diagnostic or the prototype. Yes to publish and share dashboards internally. We tell you how many licences you actually need before you buy them, not after.
How long until the first dashboard on real data?
The first working dashboard on your real source is delivered within the project scope, before any design polish. We would rather you saw it ugly and working than pretty and in a slide.
Who maintains it when you are done?
Your call. It can be documented for your team to maintain, or stay with us on a monthly retainer. What we do not do is hand over something only we can touch.
Does my data leave my company?
If your company has regulatory requirements, no: deployment happens in your own tenant or cloud, and we charge to design, implement and administer it.
